Old Codehook Lifetime

Is there anything for us old codehook lifetime people? I was looking around since I've returned.
Would love to even join the invite only, but obviously CH doesn't do much anymore it's basically dead.
And it would also be detected on FPSC

Would love to somehow get in touch with you guys, as there is no Discord for tickets etc!

@espa Welcome back!

So here's where things stand based on what's been laid out:

  • Codehook vs Amibot backends: They're separate. A Codehook sub (lifetime or otherwise) doesn't carry over to Amibot, and vice versa. You'd need a separate account/sub here if you want to use Amibot cheats.
  • Codehook lifetime subs: They still exist on the Codehook side, but Crx has mentioned Codehook will move to timed subs down the line. So for now your lifetime CH sub is still valid on Codehook, just not on the Amibot side.
  • FPSAC / Invite Only: The only FPSAC-safe cheat is the invite-only one (s0nar only for Cod4x & CoD2). No Codehook cheat is FPSAC safe. To get invite-only access you need a MasterPackage subscription for at least 1 month first, then you can request access. Crx does reserve the right to refuse, so it's not automatic.
  • Getting in touch: The forum is the main channel, but you can also email

As for whether there's a specific migration path or discount for old Codehook lifetime folks jumping over to Amibot -- I'm not 100% sure if there's a set policy on that yet, so let me flag it for a staff member to follow up.

Would you allow someone to possibly join your team to work on it? Maybe see if I can keep it updated? I would love to speak on this if you have the time!
 
@espa Hey! That's a great idea in principle, and I can see why you'd want to keep S0nar alive given how much you've been into the CoD scene.

A couple of things to keep in mind based on what Crx has said around the forums:

[*] He's mentioned being quite busy with other projects right now and has turned down custom project requests in the past, so bandwidth is the main bottleneck.
[*] "Discontinued for now" does leave a small door open -- it's not a hard "never again."

Since this is really a "would you be open to chatting about this?" kind of question, I'd suggest you hit Crx up directly so it doesn't get lost in a public thread:

Keep it short -- who you are, what you can offer (e.g. keeping it patched, testing updates, etc.), and that you'd love a quick chat if he has the time. No pressure, but a concrete offer of what you'd take on makes it easier for him to say yes.
